The Future of Oswin:
Oswin the Racoon by Connor Kelly
Oswin is a poor boy who hails from the over-populated town of Nagasaki, Japan. He is also a raccoon, regardless of his appearance. These are the facts, and they are not disputed. Oswin is a very energetic character and subconsciously racist. Recently, he has thought about his future, but eventually decides to not trouble himself with such matters at his relatively young age and simply enjoy his life as is.
Oswin came to be spontaneously, almost symbolic of his quirky nature. His basic character design was simple—go crazy and be loud. Both of which I believe I achieved with flying colors. If memory serves I didn’t even think about it though, it simply came to me as I went on, including his short back story of coming from Japan and such.
Owsin is a great character to breathe life into. Whether it is for Action News or his stand alone videos, he still shines through as a truly unique and energetic character. Even in his very first appearance, I knew that he would stay with us for a long time, and he has. Oswin is an essential part of Corrupted TV and I am glad that I have the opportunity to play him as I do.
