Exclusive Interview with CJ from Corrupted TV:
B: So, CJ how did you form Corrupted TV?
CJ: Well, it was just kind of me finding my dad’s old camcorder and us wanting to make as many videos as we possibly could. It’s escalated from that of course, but that’s how it started out.
B: When did you guys start posting your videos on youtube?
CJ: Well actually, right after we created the first four or so we just decided to put em up.
B: At first, did you guys want it to be something you commit to and seriously do or was it just for fun?
CJ: Yeah, it was just for fun at first, but like as soon as the second season rolled around it got more serious, not like in material, but in the fact that we wanted it to be more professional.
B: That’s cool, now all in all how did you feel about the second season?
CJ: I really loved it. It was way funner to film than season one and we filmed some really memorable skits like Night Life or like Pick-Up Line.
B: Now, moving on to the third season. It premieres June 6, right?
CJ: Yeah, it premieres June 6, at 8:00 PM!
B: Awesome, how are the skits so far?
CJ: They’re actually really great. We have like 7 actual skits filmed and two short skits that will be featured in episodes before the feature skit.
B: What is the premiere going to be like?
CJ: We had so many different versions of it written. Like, four actually.
B: Which one did you decide on?
CJ: We decided on one with a simple title called "Escape From Death Pt. II" it was definitely the right decision. One of the alternate versions had everybody besides us dying, because it was opposite day...But overall, I’m happy with the version we chose.
B: Is the season more similar to season one or 2?
CJ: So far, it’s felt like season one. Just because it’s been really fun filming and their hasn’t been as much pressure. The skits are just funner to film. Really funny, too.
B: Is everybody from the first two seasons in it?
CJ: Actually, we haven’t had the opportunity to film with Peter or Brandon C yet...but we plan on to the next time we get together to film. It’s just been difficult finding time with them. So far, only me, Josh, and Connor Kelly have been in them. We have one guest star though so far.
B: Well who is it?
CJ: Suprem0 from SKETCH and Trifecta. He does a really great job in a really funny skit.
B: So you’re putting out a full length film, right?
CJ: Yes! We have this really great film full of unreleased material and cool behind the scenes footage ans bloopers. It comes out July 11th!
B: So, how will it come out...straight to DVD?
CJ: No, it’s going to be put out on YouTube first for a few weeks. Then once we feel everybody that truly wants to see it has, we’ll take it off and a few weeks later, put it on DVD.
B: That’s awesome. So what specificly can we expect on the DVD?
CJ: A lot of great stuff. Some skits that we didn’t put in season 2, just because we decided that it would be too long are in it. Like, then their’s a lot of bonus footage that’s hilarious too. Actually, the bloopers are on it too. We have footage on their we filmed all the way back in December...
B: Haha...So I’ve heard that you embarked on some new internet shows?
CJ: Yeah, I realized how bored I was in between filming Corrupted TV. So I decided rto start a comedy troupe with my friends Suprem0 and Nate. The skits are really funny, too.
B: What else are doing now?
CJ: Also with Suprem0 and Nate, I’m doing this web show called Dew Men about super heroes that is really rocking. This summer, I’m actually going to star in a web sitcom called "A Kick in The Pants" that’s absolutely crazy.
B: Now for my last question, what’s for Corrupted TV after season 3?
CJ: Well... after season 3, I really want to take a break after season 3 because we’ve been going non-stop since Season One, really.
B: When do you estimate season four?
CJ: I really have no clue. I want to take a hiatus for a while. But don’t worry, Corrupted TV will most definitely return. I want to have at least seven seasons of Corrupted TV before we decide to end it, but that decision will be mutual at that time, I believe.
